Your Big Cruel World-poetry
Your childish endeavors only reflect the lack of growth
A constant game of who can outdo you the most
It’s your big, cruel world and I just live in it
A shot of spite to influence your choices
The free will to walk them out
Your accountability is missing in action
Tell me, what’s that really about?
Point the trigger at anything that moves
We’re all just enemies coming after you
So you close yourself shut at a distant post
Keep company with your pride
No one to tell you, you’re wrong this time
Is that why you avoid him?
Is it because you can’t manipulate us all?
Or does the reflection appear more familiar than you can stomach
It’s just too hard to deny it when it’s right in front of your face
If one plus one surely equals two
How is it that everyone is wrong, except you?
