21 Shocking Things That May Land You A Spot On The Potential Terrorist List
Remember the days when the word “terrorist” was only used to classify actual terrorist organizations or individuals? Well, those days are long gone, and the terms used to describe a potential terrorist in official US government documents has taken on a much broader form. You may find it unnerving to know that you are most likely doing things every day that could land you a spot on the government’s terrorist watch-list.
Potential Terrorist Watch-list
You may think to yourself “So what if I’m on the potential terrorist list, I’m not a terrorist, I have nothing to worry about”. This thinking reveals the lack of knowledge on the counter-terrorism taking place on America’s own citizens. People should pay attention to these things because the implications of what could come of this are far more dangerous than imagined. Being classified as a potential terrorist or added to the “watch-list” could have devastating effects on your life and your rights. Likewise, if your name is in the database because of an error, or incorrect information, the consequences may be irreversible. If you are on a “watch-list” the government may;
- Deny you travel by sea or air
- Deny you admission to enter the United States
- Subject you to searches and questioning
- Prevent you from receiving needed benefits
- Separate you from family and friends
- Tarnish your chances of future employment
If the government of the United States considers you or a group you belong to, to be potential terrorists that is one sure-fire way to lose all your rights. Once you are deemed a terrorist, whether you are a citizen of the United States or not, you lose all of your rights and the American government can deal with you as they see fit. Deal with you just as they would any foreign terrorist. If you think you can just get your name removed if mistakenly added on a watch-list, you’re wrong. Getting your name removed can be nearly impossible. According to the government, a person’s status on any terrorist list does not have to be disclosed to the individual.
21 Shocking Things Your Probably Doing
It seems as though the official government documents that outline the qualifications of an individual or group to be considered a terrorist are deliberately created to be unclear. I presume this allows for the governments to protect their asses with loopholes, which are much easier to come by when obscure and generalized characterizations are being utilized to define an individual or group.
Here is a list of 21 things I bet you didn’t know could land you on the “watch list”.
- Evangelical Christians
- Those who believe in or search conspiracy theories
- Displaying the Gadsden Flag -Don’t Tread On Me
- Anti abortionists
- Repeated use of the word God (non profanity)
- Owning a patriotic bumper sticker
- Reading blogs or visiting websites considered having extremists’ views
- Fearing future gun control or mass weapon confiscation
- Anyone opposed to “The New World Order.”
- Opposing homosexuality
- Speaking about individual liberties and rights
- Being a journalist
- Owning maps and almanacs
- Being a survivalist or prepper
- Homeschooling
- Using cash for purchases
- Opposing or questioning war
- Stockpiling more than one week’s worth of food
- Not having social media accounts
- Desiring online privacy
- Opposing genetically engineered food
Enemies Of The State
According to the United States government, I am considered a likely terrorist and should be included into the watch-list. Mainly because I am a bible believing Christian that will not call evil good and good evil. The bible warns us about these times and we are closer than ever before to being declared enemies of the state just by being a follower of Christ. American citizens are losing their freedom at an alarming rate. It is now considered a crime to be an individual. Americans are considered terrorists for exercising their religious freedom. If you say anything that goes against the mainstream media it is hate speech and not protected under our First Amendment Right.
