The Dangers of Kundalini Awakening

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them (Ephesians 5:11 NIV).

Currently, we are seeing a resurgence of mysticism, spirituality, and the occult. Eastern religious traditions have become ever popular in the West. People are angry, confused, lost, and hungry for a spiritual experience, the truth; something more. It is in this vulnerable state that the enemy swoops in with lying signs and wonders promising those things that are appealing to ego and flesh, to lead the lost further away from God. This will only increase as the world continues to call what is evil, good, and what is good, evil. The Bible warns us about this in 2 Timothy 3:1-7,

Know this also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with diverse lusts. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

³¹ ‘Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 19:31.

Yoga, meditation, energy work, and crystal healing are just a few examples being popularized in the West. Touted as a means to obtain a healthy, enlightened, and balanced life, more people are ignorantly joining themselves to things they ought not.

Taking part in these customs can be spiritually damaging and should be avoided at all costs. Not because I say so, but because God says so. Unlike the angry dictator He is accused of being, God prohibits these very things to protect us from the dangers and detriments that come along with idolatry and the occult.

Today, I am going to expose the dangers of Kundalini Awakening and the sinister side effects known to be associated with individuals who practice Kundalini Yoga and Awakening. By the time you’re done reading this, I want you to make the clear connection between Kundalini Awakening and the impartation of, or invoking of, demonic entities masquerading as ‘angels of light’.

What is Kundalini?

Yogapedia defines the term Kundalini as — a Sanskrit term that means “coiled one.” You can bet you will always find the occult paying homage to their “god.” This is because Satan and the fallen want worship. Which is why we see so much symbolism of serpent power in many of these esoteric pagan religions.

The practice of Kundalini awakening is a form of energetic awakening rooted in the Hindu philosophy that each person has an untapped and inactivated spiritual power at the root chakra base of the spine. Everything from long hours of meditation, yoga poses, intentionally controlled breathing, and speaking mantras is done in order to awaken the serpent Kundalini.

This can be achieved solely by one’s self or through a yogi or guru who has already activated Kundalini (impartation of spirits) and is believed to have obtained a high level of enlightenment. Once activated, the Kundalini serpent will work its way up the spine, passing through the 7 Chakra points, clearing the energy to unleash this so-called spiritual awakening. Rousing the Kundalini is thought to bring about an enlightened higher state of consciousness, inner discovery, and supernatural experiences and abilities, but the truth is much more sinister. Ignorantly partaking in these spiritual ritualistic practices with little to no understanding of its origins, intentions, or effects is downright dangerous.

Dangers of Kundalini Awakening

People who practice Kundalini yoga report having suffered from psychosis, oppression, depression and other manifestations of symptoms. Likewise, people who have awakened the Kundalini report experiencing sleep paralysis, night terrors, OBE (out-of-body experience), and other forms of demonic torment. This doesn’t sound like a life of true spiritual awakening, as promised. And that is simply because Satan is a liar and the truth is not in him or any of his false religions.

Medical and Psychiatric journals record how the rise in popularity of Eastern religious/spiritual practices in the West around the 1960s; including the practice of Kundalini Awakening, has been associated with many psychological/physio-psychological problems for those individuals who take part in the intense spiritual practice of Kundalini yoga and prolonged hours of meditation alongside other energy work.

Among the psychological difficulties associated with intensive spiritual practice we find “Kundalini awakening”, “a complex physio-psycho-spiritual transformative process described in the yogic tradition”. Researchers in the fields of Transpersonal psychology, and Near-death studies have described a complex pattern of sensory, motor, mental and affective symptoms associated with the concept of Kundalini, sometimes called the Kundalini syndrome. 

Kundalini Psychosis or Demonic Oppression?

One of the dangers of Kundalini Awakening is known as Kundalini Psychosis or Syndrome. The term is used to describe what can happen when an individual is said to be ill prepared mentally, physically, or emotionally to awaken Kundalini. The intensity of awakening Kundalini is said to produce an overwhelming force, or energy, which if not careful can lead to mental and emotional distress and hallucinations resulting in psychotic episodes.

However, what modern medicine is calling Kundalini psychosis is actually the manifestation of demonic oppression. Many of the signs and symptoms associated with this so-called spiritual awakening resembles the manifestations found in individuals suffering from demonic oppression and/or possession. The field of Transpersonal Psychology states, “Kundalini Syndrome” manifestations when suddenly and intensely experienced can cause destabilization of the individual suffering. This is referred to as a ‘spiritual emergency’.

The parallels between classic demonic oppression and possession and Kundalini Awakening are quite obvious beyond further examination. Here are just a handful of commonly shared signs and symptoms reported amongst individuals in both categories.

• Detachment
• Headache
• Anxiety
• Hallucinations
• Poltergeist like activity
• Increased heart rate
• Sleep issues
• Body aches
• Sudden limb movements/tremors
• Trance-like states
• Paranoia
• Fever
• Out-of-body experiences
• Bipolar mood
• Altered state of consciousness
• Sudden life crisis

Nothing New Under the Sun

Remember friends, there is nothing new under the sun. This includes all forms of false religions and ancient pagan worship. The enemy will dress it up to make it appear inviting and appealing to the culture of the age. For a season it very well may appear harmless and beneficial, but Satan is a liar he will not keep his word and he will betray you and leave you spiritually damaged and under attack.

For this very reason, there are countless testimonies of ex-instructors and practitioners warning of the dangers of Kundalini awakening. If you are a Christian, let this be clear, you cannot serve two masters. You cannot take part in SPIRITUAL and RITUALISTIC traditions created to glorify Satan and remain unaffected in your relationship with God. For He is a jealous God!

Whenever the enemy decides to, he can pull the rug out from under you, and he will, and there is nothing you can do about it. You can think and say all the positive affirmations you know and surround yourself with white light and sage, but it will not bring this torment to an end. Not convinced? Here are some noteworthy things that stuck out during my research and review of personal testimonies 

• Whenever the thought of Jesus Christ came into the mind of the practitioner, they were immediately instructed not to think or say the name of Jesus.
• Insisting and promising anything the practitioner desires if only they will bow to the entity.
• Individuals experiencing sudden and involuntary movements described as various yoga poses and serpent-like bodily movements.
• Reports of temporary paralysis during meditation and sleep, followed by what they describe as an invasion of a dark presence.
• Practitioners also report feeling movement inside their body, especially around the spinal and head region.
• Descriptions of blissful and ethereal sounds during meditations, turn into growls, screams, and hissing.
• Poltergeist-like activity and torment in the home that increases in intensity and severity.

If you or someone you know is experiencing similar issues and has taken part in Eastern religious traditions (yoga, meditation, opening the third eye) you should immediately;

• • Call on the name of The Lord for help, in repentance.
  • Denounce and sever all ties to the occult, false religion, and spirits associated with
  • Seek out a Holy Spirit-filled Christian to pray over you and with you.
  • Find a biblically sound church and teachings.
  • Get rid of all items and belongings associated with these demonic practices and false religions (do not sell, donate, or give away, these things are demonic doorways that grant demons legal rights to continue to torment you). Burn or destroy and trash it.

        • books associated with the new age, crystals, chakras, meditation
        • tarot cards, angel cards
        • statues and figurines
        • meditation music, binaural beats, guided meditations
        • clothing with symbolism and imagery associated
        • any jewelry containing symbolism, crystals
        • Immediately stop yoga, meditation, channeling, astral projection, intentional lucid dreaming, or any other OBE (out-of-body experiences)
